Southeast University (SEU) arranged a discussion program on earthquake precautions as part of the country-wide campaign of Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
The discussion was held on Saturday (November 5) at the Seminar Hall of SEU.
Earthquake preparations, precautions, post steps discussed through slide-show presentation prepared by Assistant Registrar (Administration) of SEU Sharif Sazzad Ahmed.
Some videos of massive earthquake of Nepal also showed during the presentation.
Registrar of SEU Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, PSC (Retd) alerted everybody to take necessary steps for earthquake.
He advised all to follow building code during construction of their house.
Dean of School of Science & Engineering Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Chairman of English department Harunur Rashid Khan, faculty members of different departments, officials of SEU were present at the program.
